Slug detection
For monitoring the quality of your punched parts. Monitoring the seating of the punch guide plate on the lower part of the tool. Eddy current sensors can be used to record the seating behavior with an accuracy of a few μm. This makes it possible to detect the smallest punching waste, widened punches (earlier lifting of the guide plate), poorly running guides and lame springs (later lifting of the guide plate).
Monitoring is carried out using state-of-the-art envelope and window technology and an intelligent learning function. Up to 2 envelopes and 4 monitoring windows can be defined per channel. The system limit is 32 input channels.
